Senior Prize Giving 2019

We would like to invite all parents, caregivers and whanau of Year 11-13 students to attend the Senior Prize Giving from 1pm to 3pm on October 30th in the School Hall.

Year 10 students will remain at school and are expected to attend the Prize Giving but their achievements will be recognised at the Junior Prize Giving on Friday 6th December.

This event celebrates a wide range of academic successes in the senior school including; Outstanding Academic Performance, awards For Excellence In Work Habits and Independent Study, a wide range of Special Awards and Scholarships and we will announce the Student Leadership Team for 2020. All students who are receiving a prize will be notified on Thursday the 24th of October and will be expected to attend a Prize Giving rehearsal on Friday the 25th at lunchtime.

We are also very fortunate to have Nicky Donkers, Corporate Commercial Director from Barkers, as our guest speaker for the event.

All parents, caregivers and whanau must please arrive and be seated in the Hall for a 1pm start. There will be an afternoon tea generously provided by the PTA following the event at 3pm in the School Library.

BUS INFORMATION FOR THE DAY

The school will close at 12.20pm on this day for Year 7-9 students although Year 7-9 students may attend the Senior Prize Giving along with parents and caregivers. The buses will leave at 12.30pm for students in Years 7-9.

There will be a second run at 3.07pm for students who attended the Prize Giving.

Parents who are coming to the Senior Prize Giving are asked to please NOT park in the bus parks as the buses need to park up at 12.15pm for departure at 12.30pm, then again at 2.40pm for departure at 3.07pm.
