Kia ora koutou,

The term has been full of activities galore! Students in TWA have run the trails of Geraldine in a great cross country day. Up and down and all around, the students put forth a great effort and had a lot of fun in the process.

Not to be outdone, the students in TWA also took to the mountains to enjoy a snow day out on Mt Dobson. Students braved the elements and got in lots of practice for the future bobsledding and luge teams for the New Zealand Olympic team.

Late last term some of our students participated in the hotly anticipated  Wearable Arts competition. TWA had multiple entries with amazing amounts of teamwork and effort went into the creative designs. TWA students earned spot prizes on the evening and nothing but smiles and memories to commemorate the bi-annual event.

Lastly, the students have all been extremely successful in their learning this term. TWA students were awarded a number of certificates, some for the completion of module books by SPEC organization. Students were acknowledged at the recent whole school assembly with all of our young learners proudly accepting their awards. Ka pai TWA!

We look forward to a safe and happy holiday and wish all whanau a restful few weeks.

Ngā mihi

Brett Ducher.
