There may be a request for a donation to help cover the cost of any out of school activities.

Year 10

Code: 10OED

The main focus for the students will be using games and activities in and out of the classroom to develop themselves individually and socially. We will use the outdoors as a medium to enhance this. Activities will include rock climbing at Spur Rd Flat, water kayaking in the school pool and on a local lake, and a day tramp in the local area. The group will learn some camp craft skills and cook a meal on cookers. They will plan for an expedition involving either tramping or rafting.

Students need to be willing to have a go at different activities and be active team players.

This entry-level course will help set students up the Level 1 Outdoor Education.
