Year 7 Ski Day at Roundhill

On the 13th of August, the Year 7 classes headed to Roundhill Ski Field near Lake Tekapo for a day’s skiing and snowboarding. We were fortunate to encounter fine weather for the day, with plenty of sunshine and a scarcity of wind bringing the awesome vista to life.

All students received lessons tailored to their skiing or snowboarding experience, with many of them working hard and developing their skills throughout the day. It was impressive to see the perseverance, teamwork, and excellent conduct of the students throughout the trip - they represented Geraldine High School brilliantly.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the parent volunteers who supported us on the trip, and a special thank you to the bus drivers for their support during a very long day.
