Congratulations to Lexie McCully

Year 9 student Lexie McCully is doing well in recreational Gymnastics at competition level.

She has won a couple of competition firsts this year, the latest being 1st placing in Bronze Level at the Recreational Gymnastics Regional Competition held at the Dunedin Gymnastics Academy on 18th August.  Earlier this year she also won a regional competition in Christchurch.

Lexie trains at South Canterbury Gymsports in Timaru twice weekly. Bar work is her favourite routine and she scored 9.9 out of 10 at Dunedin. As Lexie says, "My hard work is paying off."
