Academic Blues

We had a lovely celebration of our students who were awarded NCEA endorsed with Merit and Excellence. We had a fascinating talk from old boy Dan Cumming who made it to our event in between loaning large amounts of money to Agriculture Big Businesses for BNZ. His advice to be an empathetic and nice colleague (he may have used stronger words here) and learn to be a good communicator were great pieces of advice for those who will soon be out in the big wide world.

We are enormously proud of how well our students did in NCEA and would like to congratulate all the award winners. As Mr Cooper said in his address, it doesn't happen in isolation. It happens because of the support students get from home, school, their peers and their own willingness to put in the hard graft.
