Sports Update

Share Article

This past couple of weeks has seen a number of sporting codes holding trials, our First 11 Cricket team played Ashburton and we had Aoraki Athletics.

Once again our students are putting in some top performances across the board.

Coming up we have Summer Tournament week and we have students taking part in SISS Satellite Volleyball, SI Mountain Biking and SI Softball.

If you want to know more about sports at Geraldine High School check out our Facebook page, Geraldine High School Sport where we post results, notices and photos.

Fees, Uniforms and Permission forms

Just a gentle reminder that fees for sporting events need to be paid and uniforms need to be returned asap.

We have moved to a new system for Permission forms this year so just a reminder to fill these in early so we are not having to chase students up.

Basketball

The Intermediate Basketball Competition is well underway and our teams are starting to come together on the court.

Senior Basketball trials will be next week and we are looking at 6-7 teams in this age grade.

This year there will be a new Basketball levy on players and parents will be sent an email to register their child. If a player is not registered and paid the levy they will be unable to take the court.
