Over the last couple weeks some of the students of Geraldine High School had the opportunity to play Cricket and represent the 1st XI. We played two games, one against Timaru Boys High 2nd XI and Ashburton College 2nd XI. 

In our first game, we fell just short against Timaru putting up a great fight but losing by just 30 runs. A well struck 48 by Ollie McKeown and some sound opening bowling kept us in the hunt but we couldn’t quite get there.

In our second game against Ashburton we managed to seal a victory after bowling them all out for 67 runs and winning by 9 wickets.
