Aoraki Athletics

Once again we had 6 students from Te Whare Ako compete at the Aoraki Secondary Schools Athletics competition this term. They all preformed to their hightest abilities with some outstanding results in their chosen events.

Along with making some impressive Personal Bests, we also had some students attending Aoraki for the first time. The support they showed not only for each other but the other students attending was a great example of the Geraldine High School values.

Daniel Baird: 1st Discus (15.89m), 2nd 100m (16.74sec)

Jack Leov: 2nd Shot Putt (5.97m)

Maija De Bonth: 1st 100m (17.19sec), 1st Shot Putt (4.9m), 1st Discus (7.49m)
