Country Roads take me ho... oh sorry I was too busy thinking back to the amazing country themed disco we had on Friday the 13th of October. The school hall had been decorated by staff and students and it looked amazing. We had heaps of different country themed decorations such as ropes, cowboy boots, wheels, saddle blankets and country pictures.

Turning up on the night there were masses of cowboys and cowgirls on the dance floor having fun and mingling with other students. The night was filled with laughter, dancing, country songs, singing and games. They also handed out several prizes such as: best dancers - Pippa Saywell and Fletcher Wilson, most contribution to the night - Danielle Marriott, best dressed - Layla Rusbridge and Kaid McKeown, life of the party - Jayden Partridge, limbo winner - Justina Courage.

Many enthusiastic students formed dance circles and encouraged students from any year to join and have some fun with them. Overall it was an amazing night and I, along with many others, can’t wait for the next social.
