NCEA Exams for Seniors

GHSOctober 29, 2023

If your child is in Year 11-13 they will now be on study leave but they are still welcome to come into school to work towards their external exams. The school library is available for them during the day if they wish to come in and study at school rather than at home. Some subjects are also offering tutorials during the day. If your child would like some extra support with a subject, they are also welcome to email their teacher.

Students have been issued their exam admission slip (which they must bring to each exam), an exam timetable and exam rules and procedures. Please get your child to check these carefully. We want to avoid a student showing up on the wrong day or at the wrong time. Some of the exams are being done digitally on the student's own laptop or chrome book. Please remind them to charge their device for these exams.
If your child is sick for the exam, please email me on s.pidduck@geraldinehs.school.nz or ring the office and leave a message for me to get back to you. Please take them to the doctor on the day so that we can arrange a derived grade application. We wish our seniors all the best for their exams.
