The NZ Army Officer Training Programme is a one-of-a-kind, one-year military leadership course designed to challenge you beyond your limits. Upon completion, you’ll lead soldiers in areas such as combat teams, logistics, IT/communications, policing, engineering, intelligence, or medical services.

Officer recruitment takes place in January each year, with selections for 2026 happening in July, September, and November this year.

To help you learn more, the NZ Army is hosting an online webinar and Q&A session with recent officer graduates on:

What Will Be Covered?

  • Selection Process

  • Training & Leadership Development
