Mrs Kim Andrews —

Duathlon

Jonty Sowden competed in the Ashburton Duathlon on Sunday 6th May. He did the short course which is a 2.5km run, a 10km bike and a 1.25km run. Jonty placed first in his age group and was also first male overall which included teenagers, adults and teams. Jonty will compete again on 10th June and look to improve his time. Well done Jonty.

School Cross Country

On Thursday 17th we had our annual school Cross Country. We had great weather and some very strong finishes from the runners. Also included this year was the colour run which seems to be a big hit with the students.

Quad Tournaments

This week we are hosting the Year 7/8 Quad Tournament at school on Thursday 31st May 1.20pm.

Football and Netball are being played at school. Football is at the same times at the Rugby and the Netball games are running all day starting at 10am.

The Netball Club are also doing a BBQ on the day, $2 a sausage, $1 a drink.

Our Year 9/10 Quad teams are heading to Darfield on Thursday 31st May and the Senior Quad is in Ellesmere on Thursday 14th June.

Lani Curtis was also  the winner of the Frean Cup U19 Girls 100m and winner of the CS Davies Cup U19 Girls High Jump
