At the recent Flava Festival held at the Theatre Royal in Timaru, Geraldine High School students came away with very pleasing results again in the Visual Art section.
The Flava Festival is held annually and our school has submitted work into this competition for many years, with outstanding results.
This year the theme was 'The Natural Environment'. We submitted Year 10 Paintings into the Visual Art section. The students' artworks were about Endangered NZ Species.
We were placed 2nd overall in the Senior Visual Art section, and Lydia Wilson was awarded 2nd place in the Senior Individual work.
