PTA Rogaine by Quinn Claridge

PTA News

The PTA held its 6th Geraldine Rogaine Autumn Muster on Sunday 31st March. Waihi Gorge Station was the scenic location for our event this year. The weather played its part and close to 200 competitors enjoyed the 3hr and 6hr courses. A big thank you to Mike and Janet Harding for once again organising this great fundraiser for our school. Money raised this year will go towards the upgrade of the Year 7 & 8 playground. We should have a figure to share after our next meeting. Thank you to all the digital tech students who created a design for a new logo and certificates this year. They were all great and it was a hard decision! Chosen was McKenzie Robertson (logo design) and Makayla Mallard (certificate design).

We have our AGM coming up in May and are looking for new parents to join our committee. The majority of our current members have senior students, some in their final year of school, so it would be great to see some new faces. It’s a good way to support the school, find out what’s happening and bring some new ideas to the group. We even have some fun along the way! If you would like to know more please contact Jane Stack 696 3754 or 027 452 6371.

I wish you all a Happy Easter and enjoy the holiday break.
