Calling "retired" young players to join our club!

Unfortunately some players give away the game, and are lost to the game forever.  

Maybe you loved rugby as a kid, playing for your club... but some point maybe you got disillusioned? Maybe that led to you quitting rugby. 

We could speculate on the reasons why, but that's not our mandate. We are more focused on giving men (or women) a second chance to get back in a rugby jersey. 

There is no team sport like rugby. It is a bloody fun game that involves all manner of body shapes and sizes. It's a sport that is so much more than what  goes on the field (though that is a very important part). 

You play to win and you play for your mates, and you play for the love of the game. Sure, winning feels good, but it's not everything. Rugby mates are your extended family. 

True reward is the friends you make for life through rugby's awesome social culture. What we can promise you is that if you come play rugby for GI you will have a bloody great time and be surrounded by good people. You will have as much fun off the playing paddock, as on it!  

We have great coaches and managers. The teams are well organised and resourced, through some excellent fundraising initiatives. 

Maybe you are still not sure... but hey, what have you got to lose? 

Why not grab your boots and come on down on down to Miller Park on a Tuesday evening at 6.00pm to see what we are all about.  Meet the lads, chuck a ball around...and you will probably never look back! 

Maybe this does not apply to you... but you probably know somebody that it does... so please share with them and let's get them back involved in this game we all love!
