Quality Rugby:

Our Club has a thriving Junior Grade group, from Under 5 aged "Nippers" through to Under 13 "Junior Premiers". - In 2024 we will be fielded as many as 25 Junior sides. 

We have great coaching resources within our club ranks (parents & senior players) to mentor the youngsters and help them grow into confident capable players.

Tight Club Bond:

Our senior club players and junior club players enjoy a tight bond that is the envy of every other club in Dunedin. It is common to see the Premier players down on the paddock assisting in Junior training skills & drills sessions and actively involved in prize giving and other Junior events.

Most Saturday mornings you will find Premier & Senior players supporting our GI youngsters from the sideline; and then Junior players reciprocating by running out with the Premiers and then cheering them on fervently at Saturday afternoon home games!

Thriving Social Scene:

We have a thriving social membership of loyal supporters - diverse in age, from young to mature. We are sure you will find our members to be most welcoming, and that you and your kids will quickly find yourself happily settled at Green Island with a new band of friends. The Club endeavors to cater for all family members in the various events and functions organised.

So as you can see... we are a family orientated club, and a great place to learn the great game of rugby.
