GEIS had 9 keen girls who wanted to play softball, of those 9, only one of them had played TBall for a club when she was 8. 

If you know softball, it’s a technical sport with so many rules, but they listened and just got better throughout the day. What I loved the most about today was their willingness to learn a new sport and to have their parents on the sideline cheering and laughing (because they had no idea what was going on when it’s a double play) it was the best day.

Thank you to my helper and assistant coach, Javan Leumuava Room 5. Javan warmed the team up, organised their gear, kept them hydrated throughout the entire day and by the end of the day he was exhausted. We really do miss Mr Hale and his patience with the students who have limited experience about softball but the enthusiasm is 100%.
