Jacob Prisk —

Tena koutou katoa!

We are thrilled to inform you that our school's Kapa Haka leaders were invited to participate in the Whakarewatanga/Launch ceremony for the Māori name of Ōkaurirahi/Ceramco Park. This event was a part of Auckland Council's commitment to incorporating te reo Māori in public places, allowing for it to be seen, heard, learned, and spoken by all.

We are proud to have represented our school in this special ceremony and to have contributed to the recognition and celebration of Māori culture and language. We believe that events such as these are essential in promoting inclusivity and cultural awareness, which are essential values for our school community.

Thank you to Auckland Council for the invitation and to our Kapa Haka leaders for their representation of our school.
