Principal's Message

Maree Stavert —

Kia ora koutou katoa

After a slow start to the year, we have now slipped past the halfway mark of Term 1 and things are only just speeding up......

As I write this message, we have a group of students experiencing the great outdoors on the Tongariro Crossing, a class at Goat Island learning how to snorkel safely, and students at softball zone day. The next day we will have Year 7 swimming sports, Pasifika and Kapa Haka group practices and rock band and school production trials. And this is only a snap shot of a regular day at GEIS!

Here at GEIS, we are committed to working alongside parents and caregivers to ensure we are meeting the needs and aspirations of our students and their whanau.  This works best when we are all on the same page and, to this end,  we encourage whanau to contact us if they have any  questions, concerns, or positive feed back. We have a great team of staff here who are genuinely committed to doing their best for our students and, the more we work together, the better the outcomes will be for our tamariki.

Ngā mihi nui
