Student Medication

Jacob Prisk —

Any medication sent to school with your child needs to be sent to the Health Centre with the relevant information to ensure your child takes their medication at the correct time with the correct dosage.

The information required is the child's name, room number, a description of the medication, the reason it is being taken, dosage and time in the day it needs to be administered. This information needs to be labelled on the medication.

Medication is administered by the Health Centre and all information is confidential.

If your child's student health profile needs to be updated please email our Health Centre (sued@geis.school.nz) to update these details.

Also just a friendly reminder that our Health Centre is staffed by a First Aid trained person not a qualified nurse or doctor so any medical diagnosis or treatment needs to be done at a medical centre. Our Health Centre offers first aid treatment only.
