Currently New Zealand is under COVID 19 Protection Framework Orange setting.

Under the Orange setting it states that if you are sick you must stay home and get tested. If you have cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms you must stay home and see your Doctor or call Healthline on 0800 358 5453 for health advice. This means if your child is sick they must stay home to stop the spread of any viruses. 

Wearing a mask indoors is also strongly recommended
