EPro 8 Science and Engineering Competition

In week 6, two GEIS teams headed to Blockhouse Bay Intermediate School to compete in heats for the EPro8 Engineering Competition. 

12 teams battled it out to complete a series of engineering tasks, picking up points for every task they can complete across two and a half gruelling hours. In the end it came down to a nail-biting finish, with the Glen Eden Intermediate 1 team securing third place and a spot in the semi-finals.

In the semi finals the Epro8 team fought hard and (after a nail-biter of a tie break challenge) just snuck into the grand finals.

The grand finals are on the 19th October at Blockhouse Bay Intermediate.
