Over the past few weeks we have had a flurry of Mini-School activities with Muriwai and Piha visiting their namesake beaches and Te Henga visiting their beach as well as practising some bush craft skills in our Bird Walk.  Coming up next week is the annual Tongariro Crossing adventure, which will be followed a week later with 16 students heading to Marotiri School, in the Taupo region, for a cultural exchange.  Then in Week 9, students in Karekare will be taking part in an EOTC Problem Solving Challenge facilitated by members of the NZ Defence Force.
