Last week our EPro8 team competed in one of the Auckland Region Semi-Finals.

While they didn’t finish in the top three, during the two and a half hour competition they managed to construct a conveyor belt, mechanisms for spraying and counting fruit placed on the conveyor, a system for controlling the speed of the conveyor and a remote controlled vehicle for taking the fruit away. Touted as one of the most difficult of the EPro8 challenges, the team collaborated effectively, showed resilience and persistence to complete it.
