Drowning Prevention Auckland will be delivering the FREE aquatic based holiday programme for 11-17yrs in the Term 3 holidays.

For the past five years our 14-24yr olds have accounted for around 21% of our preventable drownings in Tamaki Makaurau. 

This programme focuses on a holistic approach when it comes to teaching water competencies that can protect one from drowning. The week includes a variety of activities including water competence simulations, Lifejacket safety, Snorkelling, By Stander Rescues, Safe Boating Programme, Beach Safety, Aquatic games, and land-based games. We also provide a free lunch.
