What can be gained by being curious?
Our school wide inquiry question this term is, ‘What can be gained by being curious?’ All classes are taking part in a series of lessons where they use observations and forensics to solve a mystery using evidence from a crime scene that has been set up in the Science Room. Our community constable has been talking to classes about the processes police use when investigating a scene along with demonstrating the process of fingerprinting and explaining how scene contamination can be avoided.
This is certainly an inspiring way to encourage curiosity!
