We had five softball teams out this week participating at the Western Zone competitions.   The majority of our players were new to this sport and trained hard in the lead up to the tournaments to learn new skills.   We had some great results with both our Year 7 and Year 8 girls teams making the finals and finishing in second place.  Our Year 7 boys team were placed 3rd and our Year 8A boys  won their competition.  A huge congratulations to all our teams for their excellent sportsmanship and enthusiasm.  Special thanks to our coaches Stephanie,  Wayne and Lance and thanks also  to our sports director Ms Va'ai for her great organisation of both tournaments.
