Fitness and PE
We encourage all our students to maintain regular participation in enjoyable physical activities in a range of environments. Our PE lessons are based on teaching the fundamental skills of sports and encouraging participation.
SCHOOL WIDE FITNESS
School wide fitness happens EVERY DAY (11.30am-11.45am)
This is COMPULSORY for all students
· PE Gear must worn at fitness (for health reasons)
PE FITNESS ASSESSMENT
The school has a series of fitness assessments to be completed twice a term. The test results will be completed for each individual based on cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and endurance.
Fitness Assessments:
Beep Test
Strength Testing - Push Ups
Strength Testing - Sit Ups
Agility Test - Star Run / Step Ups
Assessment grading is different for boys and girls.
