Congratulations to Florence Murphy, Rm 32, who competed recently in the National Surf Life Saving Beach competition at the Mount

The events which Florence participated in were beach flags, run - swim - run, sprints, board relay, board rescue, surf race, diamond swim - board - run. Florence had a full on, successful weekend showing courage and pride. 

She was awarded the Piha Spirit Award at the end of the events for her excellent effort and attitude.
