On Wednesdays in Term 3 we run our Ako programme (to teach and learn)

Students are able to learn a subject outside of their normal classroom programme, and other opportunities such as a 2nd language or NZ history.  This links back to our School Vision of "An engaging environment full of opportunities and choice".  

In Block 3 some of the 2nd languages on offer to our students are Te Reo, Spanish, German, Japanese, Hindi, Korean, Coding, Sign Language, Pasifika languages  and many more.

In Block 4 some of the subjects on offer which are not normally in the classroom programme are Calligraphy, Art classes, Sports groups, Cultural groups, Drama groups and many more. 

Our students love participating in our Ako programme and enjoy discussing their new found learning.
