In Week 3, our Chess Club students headed out to compete in the West Auckland Interschool Chess Championships.

With over 100 students from across Waitakere vying for the title of West Auckland Champs, our students had their work cut out for them. Over six rounds, our students showed focus and skill.

Our Team B achieved an awesome result of third place - with each player receiving a medal from the event.

Well done to all of our students who competed.

And while on the topic of chess - Congratulations to Jahmayn Williams who defended his 2019 title to remain our school champion.
