These and other questions teased and pleased 10 GEIS students as they competed against at least 45 other teams from all over Auckland.

Wayne Mills, the quizmaster, dished out prizes and money as incentives to get everyone into the spirit and participate in sharing the joys of reading quality children's literature. The annual quiz was threatened to be canned due to Covid, however, when it eventuated, everyone was delighted. The GEIS students loved competing and over the last few months, friendships were made with a shared common interest. Madame, the coach, has been encouraging the students throughout the year with lots of practise quizzes. It was a successful and memorable day.
