Open Division CHAMPIONS

No words can fully describe the heart, grit and determination our young men showed at the Auckland Champs rugby league competition.

Playing against teams who were twice their size, they never once backed down.

• vs Wairau Intermediate (win 44-0)

• vs Sir Edmund Hillary (win 24-8)
• vs Papakura Intermediate (win 32-4)

The Grand Final was against Kedgley intermediate who have been the favourites over the past 10 years in the open division. Our GEIS team played to their strengths with speed, kicking game and putting their bodies on the line for defence. An outstanding day of rugby league.
