Titirangi Baptist Church Car Parking

Jacob Prisk —

The Crossing Car Park: The Crossing is a community centre were all are welcome and they are pleased to be able to offer a safer and more convenient place for families to park/collect children. Inconsiderate and unsafe use of the car park would mean they would have to close it to school parking and they do not want to do that if possible. Children are welcome to gather onsite and wait to be collected.

Car drivers:
  • You’re a welcome guest on site please be kind and community minded as you use the facility.
  • Be aware that this isn't a public car park and may be closed/unavailable some days due to meetings happening on site.
  • Please don’t drive above walking pace onto/off the site
  • Please give pedestrians priority to cross on the pedestrian crossing on site
  • Please respect the disabled car parks - not open to being used by anyone unless you have a blue badge (even "just for a minute”). Because everyone is welcome at The Crossing not everyone can use all the car parking spaces.
  • It’s better to be late and considerate toward others than on-time and unsafe
Pedestrians (especially younger ones):
  • Two waiting areas are available - the covered porch area of the main building or the elevated deck area of the community house. These may be unavailable if events or meetings are happenings in the buildings.
  • Do use the footpaths to walk up/down the site
  • Only cross sides of the car park on the onsite pedestrian crossing
  • Take responsibility for your own safety on site - do not run into/on the car park area
  • Do not litter the site or damage the buildings - take your litter with you.
