It's Cool To Korero

Vaimoana Vaai —

Thank you to Tai Tupou of the 'I Am Hope' organisation for coming in to speak to our GEIS Maori and Pasifika Students

On Monday 16th March in Block 4, Tai Tupou came in to speak to all of our Maori and Pasifika students. The focus of the session was, 'It’s okay to Korero'.

"It’s Cool to Korero" empowers young people to find solutions to their problems and makes it okay to ask for help. The forty minute presentation allowed our students to recognise their journey in Tai’s story and it was followed by a comprehensive Q & A session where they could ask all the questions they have been to afraid to ask about their possible future.
