This Term, in Weeks 2 and 3, our Warriors and Spartans teams competed at Sports Camp in Matamata.

Sports Camp is just that, a camp where students compete against other schools in various sporting codes which include, basketball, tennis, croquet, netball, rugby, soccer, volleyball, golf, hockey and many more.

Our Warriors Team competed in Week 2 and achieved 1st place over all at the Sports Camp!

Our Spartans Team competed in Week 3 and came 4th place over all with many 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, beating Murrays Bay, Kamo and  Avondale Intermediates, and Albany Junior High. 

A BIG THANK YOU to Ms Vai, Ms Matich and Ms Wilson for all their hard work with organising the teams.  Thanks, also, to the parents and supporters who helped us out either at school or at Matamata.
