GEIS Waterpolo Success!

Kia ora GEIS Families and whānau,

We have had so much success with waterpolo this year and thank you to Mr Pryde and our families and whānau for their support with water polo. We had a number of teams playing over the weekend at the Waterpolo North Islands, including our Gladiators and Warriors teams both competing hard against different schools from the North Island.

WARRIORS SUCCESS !

The warriors team played hard with resilience and perseverance with even getting goals from halfway in the pool. Mr Prisk go to visit them at one of their games and was super impressed with them. and their attitude.

GLADIATORS WIN!!!

Convincing win of 9-4, Glen Eden takes gold in the Water Polo North Island's. Down 2-1 at the end of the 1st quarter, we came back way stronger and with a lot more fight.

Huge congratulations to the tournament MVP, selected by NZ Water Polo, Jasper Peters (Room 15). Beautiful gameplay, and a Year 7 too!!!
