GEIS Alumni

In 2006, the rising boxing star of Caribbean and French heritage migrated to New Zealand from the UK. 

Jermone attended GEIS where we demonstrated the school values of Excellence, Resilience, Integrity and Respect to achieve his goals. This was reinforced by his supportive family at home. 

He also attended Kelston Boys' High School where he pursued his love for rugby, but when he turned 19 he switched codes after an encounter with his neighbour, Isaac Peach from Peach boxing.

In his professional career, he is a New Zealand National Cruiserweight champion and a two division IBF Australasian champion, holding titles in the Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight division. He is currently ranked 5th in the Light Heavyweight decision with the IBF.
