Term 4 is a really busy term for the Spec Team! We are involved in the fore or background of many events.

We have had X Factor which was a huge success. There were many auditions culminating in the final on November 6th. Joshua Pritchard and Kasha Klee were instrumental in creating a spectacular final show.

On the same night Mark Towl was leading the EPro 8 team to first place in the heats at Blockhouse Bay Intermediate. We wish them well for the upcoming finals.

There has also been the Auckland Intermediate Schools' Art Exhibition held at Silo6 in the Wynyard Quarter. This is an annual event and we had 18 students exhibit their work in this unique venue. The choir also performed at the opening ceremony.

In week 7 or 8, Year 7 students will be asked to choose their Spec subjects for next year. They will choose two Arts (Visual Art, Sound Arts, Dramatic Arts or Video) and two Technology subjects ( Food Technology, Design Technology, Hard Materials or Enviro) and they will be placed in their choices for a whole term. This is a massive undertaking and we endeavour to place students in as many of their choices as possible.
