2024 School Athletics!

Kia ora GEIS families and whanau,

Last Thursday we had our GEIS athletics at Trust stadium.

Students competed in running, high jump, shot put, discus and long jump to try and reach WZ athletics.

The cheers, chants and screaming as students crossed the finish line in every race, cleared the high jump heights or pushing the shotput the furtherest, the support for each other was unreal !

Massive shoutout to our teachers who ran the entire day so smoothly and thank you to Fiona of Waitakere athletics for all her help with the finishing line camera and setting up all our field events.
