GEIS are Kiwi Tag Champs!

At the end of Term 1 (Thursday, Week 10) we had 5 teams participate and compete at the ARL KiwiTag Zone day at Avondale Racecourse.
Four of our five teams qualified for the finals so it was a sea of green across Avondale Racecourse. Mixed division saw our girls team from the Auckland champs tag last week pick up yet another win. Great to see the GEIS wāhine thrive and succeed in the footy space. Our Year 7 mixed team placed 2nd. In the boys grade it was an all Glen Eden final picking up a first and second.
A Big thank you to our families, whānau and coaches for supporting us on the day, and to Mrs Motu-Kirk for stepping in to lead the teams.
