Upcoming events and activities at GEIS

We are very pleased to introduce our new teachers who have joined us this year: Vanessa Fowles R14, Heather Stickland R18, Ana Narayan R25, Anna Evans R30, Elliot Brailey R31 and our two Learning Support Coordinators Amy Russell and Sara Badawi. We are also excited to welcome Kirsten Sullivan and Frances Thompson back to GEIS after a year away.

GEIS will be holding a cyber safety information evening for parents in our school auditorium at 6pm on Wednesday 26 Feb.

Glen Eden Intermediate is very fortunate to have a sister school in Fukuoka, Japan. Every two years we take a group of students on an exchange trip to visit them, and to spend some time experiencing life in Japan. This year’s exchange will take place from the 11th to the 19th October

A reminder to please advise the office if your child is going to be late or absent as class teachers aren’t always able to check emails before class starts.

GEIS is a busy school with large amounts of pedestrian and vehicle traffic both within our grounds and surrounding roads.

At GEIS our school uniform is important as it keeps students focused on their education, not their clothes.
