Youth United Against Bullying (YUAB) is a local initiative that emerged from the Youth Group of Life Church Timaru to highlight the issue of child and teenage bullying. (See flyer with today’s newsletter).

To further raise awareness and provide support for youth around the issue of Bullying, YUAB is planning a rally and march on Saturday May 4 this year. The rally will be held at the Caroline Bay Soundshell and the march will be along Stafford Street and back to the Soundshell and concluding with a BBQ sponsored by Silver Fern Farms.

Squash School Holiday Programme Tuesday 16th and 23rd April at the Timaru Squash Club 22 Brunswick Street Timaru. Primary 12 yrs and under 2 - 3pm Youth 13yrs and over 3 - 4pm. Cost $3 per session or $5 for 2 weeks. Contact Andrina Stoddart sjdomidands@hotmail.com Cell: 027 3766881

SC Rugby Gala Night for Girls Wednesday 8th May from 4pm. Alpine Energy Stadium. Under 11 and New Under 13 Grade. Come along as a team or we can put you in a team. Wear playing gear, boots, gym shoes and mouth guards. Competition starts 15th May and continues every Wednesday night to the end of Term 2. For more information contact: Caro 021 399 465. Oceans Grief and Loss Programme is a peer support programme that supports school aged children through an eight-session one hour a week programme. Participants learn to talk about their similar experiences of grief in a supportive environment. For further information contact Matt Cameron:
