Congratulations to all of our students who participated in the Sandford South Canterbury Science and Technology Fair last week. Our Yr 7-8 students certainly did extremely well and we are all very proud of their efforts. For the record Daniel Poulter was awarded the supreme award, no mean feat for a Yr 8 student competing against all exhibiters from Yr 7-Yr 12.

With the current measles outbreak in New Zealand it’s timely to remind parents of the need to review their child’s measles vaccination. Our records show that the school currently has a very high level of vaccinated children, but if you are unsure then please contact your GP for an update, and then please confirm with the school.
Footpath Frenzy continues this Friday. We’ll be walking from our point on the corner of Wai-iti Road and Mountain View Road. To make it extra exciting we’re delighted to announce that Olympic Silver Medalist Natalie Rooney will be walking with us! Wow!
Congratulations to all those children who were awarded Principal Awards last Friday.
Nice work everyone!
