Our PTA is an incredible group of parents that organise a variety of events throughout the year for our very lucky tamariki. Some of these events include:

• School Disco's

• Movie Nights

• End of Year Slip and Slide 

• Halloween Parade and Trick or Treating

They are also super amazing at organising and running fundraising events to help raise extra money for the school. Over the years the PTA have helped fund things such as:

• The House of Science kits annual membership 

• The visual art budget each year so we can purchase art supplies

• The well-being fund so that we can help families in need

• The Friendship Bench by the school gate 

• The painting of the tennis court and pavement games 

• The Year 8 leavers gifts

I have been lucky to be the staff rep on the PTA for the past 5 years and know the incredible work that this small group of parents do, both past and present members. But the "small" group would love to be a little bigger. It would be great to have a few more hands on deck. We appreciate that you may not be able to commit to coming to each of the monthly meetings or help out at all the events, but even putting your name forward to help at one or two events throughout the year would be a huge help. 

We meet on the last Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at Ōtoromiro Hotel. Pop along this Thursday to see what we are all about. 

Can't make the meeting on Thursday night? No worries. Just catch one of us next time you are at school and we can tell you a little more about it.
