The Little Red Car

As I opened up the front of my car, I could feel the stare of everyone in the park, burning the back of my head.

But I didn’t care.

The ruby red, stubby car had been in my family for years, after my grandfather saved it from the junkyard and restored it himself.

I climbed into the car and drove off, honking the musical horn.

DUH DUH, DUH DUH DUH.

I laughed my head off while ‘Pop Goes The Weasel’ echoed in the park as I turned around the corner.
