As part of our High Potential and Gifted Education program, Georges River College Hurstville Boys Campus gave selected students the opportunity to participate in the world-renowned ICAS competitions this year.

ICAS is an online academic competition that is designed to assess students’ higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills. The assessment celebrates students’ accomplishments by providing opportunities for recognition and development. Every student who participates received a printed certificate and an online results report.

 
Our students demonstrated a high level of achievement overall, with one of our students obtaining a High Distinction in Mathematics. This put him in the top 1% nationally.
