News from Mathematics
During Education Week, students immersed themselves in the world of mathematics through exciting hands-on activities. These engaging experiences not only ignited their passion for math but also deepened their comprehension of diverse mathematical concepts.
Our Year 7, 8, and 9 students are making remarkable strides with Maths Pathway in the classroom. We're thrilled to announce that all year groups have not only achieved an average growth rate exceeding 100% but have also surpassed this milestone. A special round of applause goes to our Year 7 students, who are currently averaging an impressive 120% growth for the year, with a staggering 143% on the latest test.
Our goal is to maintain this outstanding progress with an average growth rate consistently above 100% throughout the year. To support this, we encourage students to continue working on Maths Pathway at home on the days when they have Mathematics class. This extra effort will undoubtedly enhance their knowledge and mastery of Mathematics. Keep up the fantastic work!
