This term Year 10 Information and Software Technology students have been improving their website design and development skills, focusing on HTML and CSS programming languages.

Year 10 started off this term by studying the history of the internet, then focused on a series of websites, analysing the layout, design and features. The students had deep discussions on the way these websites had been designed and how they functioned using coding hidden in the background. 

Students began learning to write their own website code, using GROK Learning to hone in on their coding skills and Adobe Dreamweaver to put these skills to the test. Year 10 IST will be finishing off this term with an assessment that requires them to create their own website from scratch.
